Sowing and propagation
Best time to sow is in early Spring from February to April. Spread the seeds in a container with fine potting soil. Cover the seeds lightly with a thin layer of soil. Moisten the soil with a spray gun.
Close the container with plastic wrapping to retain moisture. Put the container in a light spot, not in full sun at room temperature around 22 C.
After 4-6 weeks, when the first true leaf develops, transplant the plants into pots. Fully grown plants can be planted outside in late April. Before planting outdoors, it is advisable to harden off the plants. Put them out through the day a number of days (for a week or two) and at night bring them in again. This way they get used to outdoor temperatures. Take care of not too deep planting.
